Ides of March may come
The winds of June, the August sun
With summer solstice near
Within my head I cannot clear
Winter chills from you escape
No hope springs, no eternal fate
Death befalls the silent sun
So have a nice year everyone
You told me, once told me
Our day, our day will come
Come and face the sun
On the seas of eternity
A harvest moon sneaks through the trees
The ice beam brings me to my knees
Nature's wonders spill a night
And fade away with morning light
A rooster's crow forbids the calm
Upon his head with rocks I bomb
His cry is such a lonesome one
When all is said and nothin's done
You told me, once told me
Our day, our day will come
Come and face the sun
On the seas of eternity
Winds of change upon the dawn
Hark the sound a new age born
From the womb it tears away
To bring us to a better day
