In memory of Clive Coulson, who passed away on January 25th 2006
Hello Everyone,
Clive was a good friend of mine and to me this is a sad loss. He helped me greatly when I first went to London in 1971 and over the years remained a good friend. For those who don't know, he worked for Led Zeppelin from the start and was instrumental in the forming of and management of Bad Company. He was the singer of a band I was in during the 60's called "Mecca". I have mentioned him in many interviews as being the person who introduced me to Stan Webb of Chicken Shack, which is when my UK career really began in London in 1971. I have always felt gratitude towards Clive for his help and encouragement during those days. He was only 58 and his death came suddenly and without warning or symptoms.
R.I.P Clive, you'll be missed. Bob
